How do you build a workout around your own plan?

Choose the movements first, give each one a rep or time target, insert rests, group repeated steps, then check the order before you start. A usable plan says what to do next at every point.

The idea

Build from the sequence outward.

Start with a small number of movements that serve the session you want. Decide which steps need a timer and which need a rep count.

Add rests and sets after the exercises are clear. Finally, read the workout from top to bottom to make sure each transition makes sense.

A practical example

A mixed plan in six decisions

The result is the Full Body Mix: a complete sequence rather than a list of unrelated exercise names.

  1. Choose Squat, Push-ups, Plank and High Knees
  2. Set Squat to 12 reps and Push-ups to 10 reps
  3. Set Plank and High Knees to 45 seconds each
  4. Insert 30-second rests between the exercises
  5. Arrange the steps in the order you want
  6. Run the workout and adjust if the plan changes

Keep in mind

Use the idea with context.

A longer or more complicated workout is not automatically better. Keep only steps you can explain and follow.

How CrazyFit helps

Create the structure in CrazyFit.

The workout editor lets you combine the step types and order them. Custom exercises can fill gaps in the built-in list, and reusable routines can become building blocks later.
